Ice, Direct from Russia

Ice, Direct from Russia is a unique Las Vegas show. There are so many shows in Las Vegas that could be classified as unique but the idea behind Ice is to take a hardened element and use that as the backdrop for the entire performance. Ice may not be something people in Las Vegas know that much about, but it is certainly known to Russia and that knowledge is shared with people that go to the desert in order to see the show. In the words of the actual show itself, while things might be heating up outside on the Las Vegas Strip, the inside is going to be a wonderland of ice for people to have lots of fun in. It is perhaps fitting that this wonderland of ice is located on the Las Vegas Strip as that is the home of everything weird and wonderful inside the city of Las Vegas .

The show itself is being held currently in the Versailles Showroom which is located at 2901 South Las Vegas Boulevard . That essentially makes it easy for you to combine Ice with a night at the poker tables, a night in the casino or a night out on the town having fun in one of the best nightclubs or restaurants that Las Vegas has to offer. Not only is Ice a fantastic show therefore, but it is convenient. The show runs six times a week with a daily show at 8:00 PM every day of the week with the exception of Friday. The entry into the theatre is governed by a general admission charge of $89.95 or a VIP charge of $99.95 for some extra benefits. In both cases, these prices are in the lower average part of the pricing spectrum for shows that is put on in Las Vegas .

The show is composed of 42 different performers and each performer is on skates. The inside of the showroom has a performance floor that has been covered completely with ice. In order to keep this ice from melting, the interior temperature of the showroom has to be maintained at a relatively low temperature compared to the outside Las Vegas Strip and for that reason you might want to think about wearing something warm when you come to see the show. Considering the fact that melting ice would cause performers to fall over and potentially sustain injury in the process, you can probably agree right off the bat that the lower temperature is preferable. It is certainly worth it either way however, as the skaters will pull off different spectacular jumps, slides and spins that will take your breath away. They are as dazzling as they are daring in some areas, making the show well worth the price of admission.

As far as the audience is concerned, Ice is a show that is suitable for the entire family. That having been said however, younger children might not have a good time due to a combination of the cooler weather and the complex moves that need to be followed.
