There has often been debate over which of the Las Vegas shows tend to be the best. Some people say that the artistic shows that show off a person's ability to sing or dance are the best shows, regardless of anything else. It is a delicious combination of the character shows that people love and the excellent artistic talent that seems to be able to draw people from all over the world (some of which are not even interested in gambling) down to the city of Las Vegas.
The story itself is about four boys from New Jersey . The names of the four different people are Frankie Valli, Tommy DeVito, Nick Massi and Bob Gaudio, so you can tell right off the bat that the story will have been heavily influenced by the live of an average New England Italian. Over the course of the entire performance, you will see each of the four Jersey Boys tell their own story with their voice phrased in one each of The Four Seasons. The actual stories are about a rise to stardom from humble beginnings and the beauty of the singing as it is done is fantastic. You'll feel good about life at the end of Jersey Boys and you will feel a deep connection with each of the four characters when they have finished telling you their story.
The show plays at the Palazzo Theatre, which is located inside the Palazzo Resort at 3325 South Las Vegas Boulevard . This puts the show right in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip, allowing you to combine it with gambling activities or with the best food and drink available in the city from any of the fine restaurants located along the strip as well. Overall, it is in a great location. You can usually count on there being at least one showing of Jersey Boys each evening at seven and on Fridays and Saturdays you can also usually count on a late show coming on at ten. These are just generalities however, as each week's schedule is subject to change based on what the people in charge of the show decide to do. So keep those numbers in mind, but make sure you call ahead to book a particular timeslot before you actually show up in Vegas.
As far as the prices are concerned, the show is about midrange as far as comparisons to other shows in Las Vegas are concerned. Normal seating in the mezzanine will cost around $70 while seats around the orchestra will run from $100 to $150 depending on where you want to sit. VIP seating starts at $250 and goes up from there, although for enjoyment of the actual show you can get the same amount whether you pay for a seat in the mezzanine or in the VIP area of the theatre.
