Tournament of Kings

Much of human history has to do with the art of combat. Every single era of human history has had some form of artistic expression through combat and for that reason the job of many historians over the years has been to catalogue all of these combat styles and save them so that future generations can know what their ancestors were thinking. The Tournament of Kings is a tribute to one of these particular art forms. Specifically, it is a tournament that is held between people with a decidedly medieval theme to it. Knights mounted on horseback will joust with each other in tournaments to see who the best at the discipline is whilst others combat each other with the sword and the shield. There are so many different battles going on, but the end result is always to find out which of the brave warriors taking part in the combat is the best at what they do. Follow the rich plotline of the Tournament of Kings and you might just get the chance to find out.

The Tournament of Kings is held at the aptly named King Arthur's Arena. This arena is located at 3850 South Las Vegas Boulevard inside the also aptly named Excalibur Resort, placing it right on the Las Vegas Strip. The Strip has long been known as the best location for any tourist to have their events in because of the simple fact that most of the good shows, restaurants and gambling venues are located there. This does not mean that there are good non-strip events for tourists to take part in, just that people that go to events like the Tournament of Kings that are located on the strip will have a very easy time finding something else to do after the tournament is over.

As far as the logistical concerns go, the Tournament of Kings takes place twelve times a week. Everyday of the week with the exception of Tuesday has a tournament taking place at 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM and the general admission to each tournament is $58.24. For this price you not only get the tournament, but you also get a medieval-themed dinner to boot. It is easily one of the best show-oriented deals you are ever going to get in the city of Las Vegas .

If you are interested in going to see the Tournament of Kings, one thing that you need to be aware of is the fact that the shows tend to sell out quite quickly. The fact of the matter is that this is one of the most popular shows available in Las Vegas because of the quality and the cost and for that reason you will find that arriving in Las Vegas and then going to book tickets for the show might end up causing you endless frustration. The better thing to do would be to have your tickets booked before you arrive in the city as that will ensure that you get a chance to view the show no matter what happens.
